Biography
Mr. Bain is a native of South Carolina, born and raised in Spartanburg. He graduated from Spartanburg High School in 2007. While attending Spartanburg High, Mr. Bain served on the Model UN Team and played varsity football for 4 years. He then attended Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC where he was a member of the Presbyterian College football team. Mr. Bain was on the Dean's List and graduated with Honors.
After college, Mr. Bain attended Charlotte School of Law. While attending law school, Mr. Bain served as an Articles Editor on Law Review and interned at the Ward Law Firm in Spartanburg, SC. At Ward Law Firm, he worked in Civil Litigation on the defense side. He graduated with honors and received a degree of Juris Doctor in January 2014. Mr. Bain was admitted to practice in May 2014.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Bain began his legal career with the Seventh Circuit Solicitor's Office in 2014, working on criminal cases throughout Spartanburg, Gaffney and Blacksburg. In addition to his position as an Assistant Solicitor, Mr. Bain was recruited by the City of Gaffney as a prosecutor, specializing in DUI cases. During his tenure at the Solicitor's Office, he has tried many cases before a jury and moved over 1,000 cases. Mr. Bain is involved in the community and enjoys playing golf.
